The Edge at Wigan: Best Speaker
So who really is the best speaker at The Edge?
Well…
I must admit that it’s certainly not me.
But I wanted to demonstrate something entirely different.
What’s that, David?
It’s possible to get found on Google.
One of the Tech it Easy workshops I run is about SEO.
That’s short for Search Engine Optimisation.
SEO is about optimising your web content so that it will get found on Google.
And as an experiment, I made this video.
Back in 2019, I asked the late Eunice Houghton,
Who is the best speaker at the Edge?
Eunice was a gem. She was a much-loved and respected lady in Wigan.
And she kindly did this short interview with me.
Of course, I’d primed her with the answer, though…
I created the video on YouTube back in 2019, and called it:

But until now (October 2021), there’s been no written article.
So I’ve corrected that. I’ve written this webpage.
Let’s see how long it takes to get this page found on Google too.

Well, certainly not me!
But like I said, I’m not interested in accolades. Just experimenting with SEO to try to keep up with Google’s trends.
